What started as a small team of passionate safari guides has grown into one of the region's most trusted travel consultancies — but the founding principle has never changed.
Savanna Journeys was born from a deep love for East Africa's breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. Over the past decade, we've had the privilege of introducing thousands of travellers to the magic of this continent — from witnessing the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara to trekking with mountain gorillas in the Virunga volcanoes.
We learned early that the most powerful journeys are not defined by luxury alone, but by the quality of encounter — with the land, with its people, and with the parts of yourself that only wilderness can reach. That understanding shapes every itinerary we create.

Conservation First
Every lodge, route, and experience we recommend must actively contribute to the long-term health of its ecosystem. Tourism that extracts without returning is tourism we refuse to sell.
